Audio Talking Book Editor: On-Site

Description:
Assist Audio Department with the assembly of “Digital Talking Books” from sound files recorded by volunteer readers.
Requirements:
- Adult (18 + Years).
- Minimum commitment: one semester (for students), or about 4-5 months.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to view and edit sound files (training provided).
- Ability to learn and use new software packages.
- Ability to edit XML or HTML helpful but not necessary.
- Eye for detail and strong clerical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Time Commitment:
Time commitment of 4-6 hours per week. For students, a one semester commitment or a longer term commitment is required.
Training:
Training will be provided.
Location:
At Home, or at our office in the Central Library Building in downtown Milwaukee.
