Share your zest for reading with people who are blind, Visually Impaired or Print disabled. Help us build accessible books! Assist our Audio Department with the assembly of “Digital Talking Books” from sound files recorded by volunteer readers.
Requirements:
- Adult (18 + Years).
- Minimum commitment: one semester (for students), or about 4-5 months.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to view and edit sound files (training provided).
- Ability to learn and use new software packages.
- Eye for detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
Time Commitment:
Time commitment of 4-6 hours per week. For students, a one semester commitment or a longer term commitment is required.
Training:
Training will be provided at our office.
Location:
At Home, or at our office in the Central Library Building in downtown Milwaukee.
