Our name changed, but our mission remains the same.
In 2007 our board moved to change our name in order to reflect our mission and services more accurately. "Volunteer Services for the Visually Handicapped, Inc." (VSVH) is now "Audio and Braille Literacy Enhancement, Inc." (ABLE)

We continue to provide high quality audio, digital, and braille transcriptions of printed materials ranging from books and magazines to restaurant menus and wedding programs.
